Paris Motor Show 2018: Mercedes GLE
The new generation of the Mercedes GLE (E-segment SUV) is expected to be unveiled at the 2018 Paris Motor Show.

The new model does not revolutionize the style of the former GLE which was itself  a mere restyling of the M-Class launched in 2011.

It should  retain the engines of the old GLE, i.e. the 6cylinder 3.0 gasoline engine and the 4 cylinders 2.2and 6 cylinders 3.0. diesel engines.

A plug in hybrid , based on  the 3.0 gasoline is expected to follow next year.

The new GLE will be produced at the Tuscaloosa (USA) site as previously, and a coupe version is expected to be launched next year to replace the current version.

Thus, Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Porsche presented about fifteen new products (75% of the main novelties of the show), to which  the DS 3 Crossback, the major novelty of the French premium brand, has been added

Also to be noted is  the presence of Chinese GAC and Vietnamese Vinfast.
