- Xpeng (5% owned by Volkswagen) sold nearly 430,000 cars worldwide in 2025, compared to 190,000 in 2024. It is one of the most dynamic Chinese carmakers. Its lineup, still under development, currently comprises seven different models. For the 2026 Beijing Motor Show, Xpeng is expected to unveil its new high-end SUV, the GX, whose styling departs from previous models and draws closer to the lines of the Range Rover, which it intends to compete with. Measuring 5.27 meters in length, the GX will be available as a fully electric vehicle or as a REEV (extended-range electric vehicle) based on a 1.5-liter engine.
