Inovev predicts sales of 30 000 to 50 000 per year for the new BMW 6 Series GT

Inovev table sur 30 000 à 50 000 ventes par an de la nouvelle BMW Série 6 GT,

- BMW vient d’arrêter la production du Coupé Série 6, les variantes Gran Coupé et Cabriolet étant en sursis. Elles sont toujours produites mais en faible quantité et leur production devrait cesser avant la fin de l’année. Sur le cumul 5 mois 2017, 4 500 unités seulement ont été assemblées à Dingolfing (Allemagne), contre 16 000 unités en 2016 et 18 000 en 2015.

- Les Série 6 Coupé, Cabriolet et Gran Coupé seront en fait remplacées par les futures Série 8 annoncées pour 2018 qui seront disponibles dans les trois carrosseries et toujours produites à Dingolfing.

- Mais BMW n’a pas voulu laisser un vide dans sa gamme, et dévoile ce mois-ci une nouvelle génération de Série 6 qui est en réalité la remplaçante de la Série 5 GT, une berline à cinq portes dérivée de la Série 5 à quatre portes. Ce nouveau modèle s’appelle Série 6 GT. Il reprend la même recette que la Série 5 GT mais appliquée à la Série 5 lancée l’an dernier.

- Avec cette carrosserie de 5,09m de long, 1,90m de large et 1,54m de haut, on est loin de la ligne élégante et surbaissée de la Série 6 Gran Coupé en sursis, mais les progrès sont notables par rapport à la Série 5 GT.

- Utilisant la plateforme CLAR et assemblée à Dingolfing, la nouvelle Série 6 GT est proposée avec un 4 cylindres 2.0 turbo essence de 258ch, un 6 cylindres 3.0 turbo essence de 340ch et un 6 cylindres 3.0 turbo diesel de 265ch.
