Iveco enters in the N1-2 and N1-3 utility vehicle category
The Iveco brand was part of the Fiat Group until 2011 as a subsidiary of Fiat Industrial. In 2013, Fiat Industrial merged with CNH Global to form the CNH Industrial Group. In 2022, Iveco became an independent group under the name Iveco Group. A few days ago, Iveco Group announced that it had been acquired by the Tata Motors Group (owner of Jaguar Land Rover in Europe and also a commercial vehicle producer in India).

Prior to this announcement, last March, Iveco had signed an agreement with the Stellantis Group for the supply of battery electric vans marketed under the Iveco brand, in categories lower than the battery electric Daily and derived from the battery electric Fiat Scudo and battery electric Fiat Ducato. These models, named the e-Jolly and e-Super Jolly respectively, are actually rebranded Stellantis models with a custom grille inspired by the Iveco Daily. They feature the same engines as the original models.

Iveco is thus expanding its utility vehicle range downwards with these two new models, which will be marketed from the first quarter of 2026 in a fully electric version only (they will not be available in combustion engine versions).

The e-Jolly's 136 hp engine is paired with a 49 kWh (224 km range) or 75 kWh (352 km range) NMC battery, while the e-Super Jolly's 272 hp engine is paired with a 110 kWh NMC battery (420 km range).

The Iveco e-Jolly will be produced in Hordain (France), alongside the other Stellantis N1-2 segment utility vehicles. As for the Iveco e-SuperJolly, it will be produced in Atessa (Italy) and Gliwice (Poland), alongside the other Stellantis N1-3 segment utility vehicles.

For now, there is no indication that Iveco is interested in the N1-1 small utility vehicle category (like the Fiat Doblo).
