Context
- Linghui (BYD Group's new consumer subsidiary) is expected to unveil its first model at the 2026 Beijing Motor Show: a mid-range, all-electric sedan called the e7 (4.78 m long), based on the BYD Sealion 06 platform and offered at a lower price. Three other models are planned for the coming months ( Linghui e5, e9, M9).
- The new e7 is equipped with BYD's latest fast charging technology and a second-generation Blade battery that promises an ultra-fast charging experience, going from 10% to 70% in 5 minutes and being virtually fully charged in 10 minutes.
- To attract buyers, Linghui offers individuals 12 months of free charging at fast-charging stations from the date of delivery. Furthermore, Linghui has implemented flexible financing policies, including zero down payments and ultra-long loan terms of up to five years, to further lower the barrier to car ownership.
