Fiat Chrysler USA Product Plan (2015-2018)

Fiat-Chrysler, the 7th largest automotive group worldwide, unveiled its product plan for the American market. In 2014, the FCA group should produce some 2.9 million vehicles (PC + LCV) in North America (USA, Canada and Mexico). For the years to come, FCA has decided to renew key models of the American market (via the Chrysler, Fiat, Jeep, Dodge and Alfa Romeo brands).

Chrysler will launch four new models between 2015 and 2018: In 2016, the 100 C-segment sedan, and a hybrid version of the MPV Town & Country (produced at 135 000 units in 2013). In 2017, a new crossover in segment E and another crossover in segment D in 2018.

Fiat will launch one new vehicle in 2015, the 500X, a B-segment SUV whose worldwide production  should reach 75 000 units a year .

Jeep will launch a B-segment SUV, namely the Renegade in 2015, based on the platform of the 500X and produced in the same factory (Melfi, in Italy). Its production should reach 80 000 units. In 2018, the Grand Wagoneer, an SUV from segment E that has not been produced since 1991 will make a come back.

Alfa Romeo will launch two D-segment vehicles in 2016: a sedan and an SUV.

Dodge will launch an LCV in 2015 and a B-segment sedan in 2018.

In 2014, the most produced FCA vehicles in North America should be : the Dodge Ram Pick Up (575 000 units), the Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV (330 000 units), the Cherokee (270 000 units), the Wrangler (230 000 units) and the MPVs Dodge Caravan (225 000 units) and Chrysler Town & Country (196 000 units).
